README.TXT FILE FOR SWAPPER.EXE V2.3

The automatic ALT+TABer to cyclically display multiple applications on a single workstation monitor.

Swapper is a 32 bit windows application which allows multiple windows applications to be 
run on a single pc and displayed in sequence with each application having a unique display time.

The biggest single advantage with Swapper is that the applications displayed can be from real time feeds as opposed to the static displays produced by graphics and presentation software packages.

Typical uses for Swapper are :-

Visual displays which show real time on-line information such as stocks and shares or up to date new items. 
IT Systems Monitoring Desk
Message boards

Swapper can replace the need for expensive screen switching boxes if all the applications can be run on a single pc.


Minimum requirements:

Pentium 75 CPU with 16MB RAM ( 32MB for NT)
6.0 MB free disk space
Windows NT 4.0 ( with Service Pack 3 ) or Windows 95 ( with Service Pack 1 )
Swapper has NOT been tested against Windows 2000 but in theory it should work OK 

Installation:

Installing from a  single file install:
To install Swapper run SETUPEX.EXE from the directory where SETUPEX.EXE is located.

N.B. Swapper is a 32 bit program and can only be run on Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 or above.

This version of Swapper is shareware and is not restricted in any way during the 30 day trial
period. After the 30 day trial period the program will continue to work but expiry notices 
will be displayed. These can be removed by registering as outlined in REGISTER.TXT

The program may be freely distributed provided that none of the files or notices are modified
in any way. 

The program has been scanned for viruses prior to upload to the web.
